Employees working remotely must first use the Palo Alto GlobalProtect software for VPN access. This is an intentional security measure.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><b>Note:\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0 If you would like to access your\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/portal.office.com\/\">GHC email<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/highlands.view.usg.edu\/\">D2L<\/a>, or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/oneusgconnect.usg.edu\/\">OneUSG<\/a>, you do not need to visit the GHC Employee Portal or use the VPN. You can access these systems directly using a bookmark in <a href=\"https:\/\/support.mozilla.org\/en-US\/kb\/bookmarks-firefox\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mozilla Firefox<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/chrome\/answer\/188842?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&amp;hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Chrome<\/a>.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><b>Note:\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0 You will be unable to connect until you have completed the <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.highlands.edu\/vpn\/agreement\/\" role=\"button\">VPN Agreement Form<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>How to Connect<\/h2>\n<p><b>Download and Install GlobalProtect Agent<\/b> (For Personal Devices)You must download and install the GlobalProtect software client on each device that you intend to use with the VPN. These instructions are for this setup process, only.
