UPCOMING FEDERAL ELECTION
A federal election has been called for September 20. We are in the process of connecting with other Chambers in our riding to see if we can set up an all candidates meeting on Zoom, much like the in-person meetings we hold for our municipal and provincial elections.
We’d love your ideas for how we can encourage or organize Covid-safe viewing gatherings in areas with excellent Internet access, to make the meeting more widely accessible.
Pop by the Office next week and pick up a copy of our new brochure. It’ll help you locate the seven interpretive signs throughout Grey Highlands and enjoy more of our unique towns.
AUGUST NETWORKING ON ZOOM
You’re invited – Chamber Member or not!
We’re opening up our upcoming networking session to ALL Grey Highlands businesses, Member or not, home-based or storefront, representing 250 people or yourself. And to sweeten the pot, we’re inviting the West Grey Chamber of Commerce Members to join us, too.
The next casual networking session will be the evening of Wed., August 18. Email the Office for the Zoom link. The session will be limited to 10 businesses.
AUGUST BOARD MEETING
Our next Board meeting will be held on Thursday evening, the 19th, via Zoom. At this meeting, among other things we’ll be chatting about our upcoming 50/50 fundraiser, our annual meeting plans, and (EEK!) the Markdale Santa Parade.
As with our Networking, please email the office for the link to join. We encourage both Member Businesses and prospective Members to take part.

WELCOME, NEW MEMBER
Please welcome Devonleigh Homes to the Grey Highlands Chamber of Commerce. Devonleigh has been building homes for 24 years, bringing more than 3,000 homes to market. They are responsible for significant building in Markdale.
