*** Wonderful Time of Year *** February Networking *** COVID Care *** Guest Speaker at Next Meeting *** Welcome, New Members ***

On February 1, we’re officially halfway through winter. We hope you’ve enjoyed it so far.

Have you seen all the people out on snowshoes? Snowshoes are definitely the hot item of the season. No matter how you choose to spend the winter, be sure to get outside as often as you can to take advantage of any sunshine.

I promised more details and I now have them, so here they are: Chamber Member Networking Sessions, Wednesday, February 17, 7:00-7:45pm and Saturday, February 20, 9:00-9:45am.

A maximum of 10 Members will each have four minutes to leisurely introduce themselves and their business to the rest of the group, and field questions.

This 45 minutes may very well make our Members their best connection of the year. Call or email the Chamber Office for the Zoom link.

Nope, it’s not time to let our guard down. We still need to wear our masks properly, wash our hands, and keep our distance. C’mon, you can’t say I don’t care about you.

At our February 18 Board meeting, which all Chamber Members can attend, we will welcome guest speaker OPP Constable Nicholas Wilson, our Community Officer.

Constable Wilson will be speaking about scams and frauds, which are becoming much more prevalent in Grey Highlands. Call or email the Chamber Office for the Zoom link.

Please join me in welcoming two new members to the Grey Highlands Chamber of Commerce.

Flesherton & District Farmers’ Market (website, Facebook) has operated a popular market since 1990, meeting every Saturday from May to October. Until COVID hit, some 15 or so vendors set up and offered for sale a wide variety of in-season fruits and vegetables, meats, baking, and arts and crafts at the Flesherton Arena parking lot. Marketwares are currently available for order on the web, at fleshertonfarmersmarket.ca, with pickup scheduled at Leelas Inn in Flesherton.

Schooley Mitchell of Grey Bruce (website, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) is operated by Miguel Cardenas, an independent and objective cost reduction expert in the areas of telecommunications, merchant services, shipping, waste, electronic logging devices for fleet vehicles, and eSignatures.
