*** OCC Advocacy Is for All *** Next Chamber Board Meeting *** Welcome, New Members ***

On Mar. 3, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) sent a letter to Minister of Health Christine Elliott containing some of the recommendations informed by their Health Policy Council (the Council).

“Composed of a diverse cross-section of OCC members, the Council has been meeting regularly to exchange ideas, inform OCC priorities, and provide government with timely recommendations as it pertains to health policy in Ontario,” explained the letter.

The Grey Highlands Chamber of Commerce and its Members are themselves Members of the OCC, and a portion of our Chamber membership fees goes toward our membership in the OCC.

We are grateful for the OCC’s advocacy to the government on numerous issues, but we also gain much more from our membership – another of the benefits of OCC membership is access to the Chamber Benefits Plan, our comprehensive health plan for businesses of any size.

The Chamber Board will meet next on Mar. 18 via Zoom. A link will be sent out to invite all Chamber Members to watch our meeting live. At the start of this meeting we will have a guest speaker proposing a new Chamber initiative – be among the first to know about it!

Please join us in welcoming these two new Members to the Grey Highlands Chamber of Commerce.
